98 Year Old Woman Defeats Second Wave of Covid In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Amidst the surge in Covid cases across the state came a good news of a 98 year old woman with co-morbidities who has defeated the Covid infection in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

A resident of Chandrasekharpur, Annapurna Biswal was detected with Covid-19 on May 5 after which the family members rushed her to the hospital for treatment.

Biswal suffers from filaria, hypertension and diabetes responded to the medication and turned around within a week’s time, said doctors treating her.

“The dedicated care extended to my mother has helped her recover,” her son Kulamani Biswal said.
The help desk set up in the hospital extended great support to the family during the difficult time, said her grand daughter-in-law Rajashree Biswal.
