Bhubaneswar: In a notable development, 441 junior engineers specializing in Civil Engineering have commenced their professional journey at the Water Resources Department of the state government. The induction program, held at the convention centre of Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, served as the platform to welcome and acquaint these engineers with their new roles.
In a significant stride towards bolstering the workforce, a total of 441 junior engineers (Civil) marked the commencement of their journey in the Water Resources Department of the state government. During the event, the Chief Minister addressed the freshly-recruited engineers and underscored the importance of aligning with the 5T initiative. Emphasizing the transformative impact of the 5T initiative, the Chief Minister highlighted the acceleration of major irrigation projects through the application of modern technology.
Encouraging a commitment to staying abreast of new technologies, the Chief Minister called upon the junior engineers to bring innovative solutions to address challenging issues. Recognizing the pivotal role of public service, he urged the engineers to uphold principles of transparency, sincerity, and unwavering commitment.
“Now that you are in public service, your sole responsibility is to serve the people with utmost transparency, sincerity, and commitment. Our every action has a direct impact on the lives of people. We must be sensitive to the needs and aspirations of people and do our best to serve them,” stated the Chief Minister.
