1152 Fresh Recruits Including Lecturers, Officers, and Staff Join State Government

Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, 1152 new lecturers, officers, and staff joined the state government, marking a key addition to the workforce. The induction was accompanied by an orientation program held at the state convention center and Rabindra Mandap, with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gracing the occasion.

Among the new recruits, 997 are lecturers in non-government aided colleges, 57 are Inspectors of Cooperative Societies, 57 serve as Gram Panchayat Development Officers, and 31 are district-level Group-C personnel in the Information and Public Relations department.

Welcoming the newcomers, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik urged them to adhere to the 5T Mantra of governance in their respective workplaces. He expressed confidence that their talent, commitment, and hard work would enhance efficiency in their respective fields.

Highlighting the transformative governance under the state’s 5T initiative, the Chief Minister emphasized its impact on development projects, resulting in comprehensive transformation and empowerment at every level. The dimensions of Teamwork, Technology, Transparency, and Time have contributed to making Odisha one of the fastest-developing states in the country, he added, extending his best wishes for their bright future.

Speaking at the event, Pradeep Amat, Minister of Panchayati Raj, Forest Environment & CC, Information & PR, reflected on the significant progress the state has made under Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik’s leadership. He acknowledged the economic turnaround over the past two decades, creating regular employment opportunities for the youth.

Four new recruits, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Meher, Surya Prakash Samant Singhar, Swayam Prava Sahu, and Subhajita Prusty, shared their experiences, praising the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister. They highlighted the transparent and efficient recruitment process, culminating in their appointments within four months. The recruits pledged their commitment to working under the 5T initiative, contributing to transformative governance in the state.
