Bhubaneswar: The Vrindavan Mahotsav witnessed a spectacular evening of classical dance and music as renowned actress and Bharatanatyam exponent Hema Malini captivated the audience with a mesmerizing performance at Rabindra Mandap. Organized by the Odia Language, Literature, and Culture Department in collaboration with Brindavan Gurukul, the festival celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.

Hema Malini commenced her performance with a soulful Pushpanjali, followed by devotional renditions of Ganesh Aradhana and Lakshmi Stuti. Her performance was elevated by the synchronized movements of Natya Vihar Kala Kendra dancers, while disciples of Brindavan Gurukul enhanced the spiritual ambiance with their flute and tabla recitals.

Expressing her deep admiration for Odisha’s cultural legacy, Hema Malini shared, “Performing in the land of Lord Jagannath is an honor. Odisha’s dance, music, literature, and traditions hold a unique place in India’s cultural heritage.”
