
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has appointed senior IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav as the Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri. The decision was announced on Monday through an official notification issued by the Law Department.
The appointment of Vir Vikram Yadav comes under the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Shree Jagannath Temple Act, 1954 (Odisha Act, 11 of 1955). The notification states, “The State Government do hereby appoint Shri Vir Vikram Yadav, IAS (R.R.-1996) as Chief Administrator, SJTA, Puri in addition to his present duties, from the date actually takes over charge as such.”
