The intense clash saw HOPS FC initially take the lead with a goal from Frederica in the 67th minute, only to be matched by a last-minute equalizer from Sports Odisha’s Manisha Naik in the 84th minute, securing a point for each team. This marked Sports Odisha’s first point of the season.
The first half remained goalless, characterized by a closely contested battle for possession, with Sports Odisha slightly edging ahead. Despite eight shots on goal, led by forward Manisha Naik, Sports Odisha couldn’t break the deadlock.
