
Bhubaneswar: Odisha is beaming with pride as three of its talented hockey players have been selected to represent India in the upcoming Men’s Junior Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Muscat, Oman, from November 26 to December 4, 2024.
The trio includes defender Anmol Ekka and midfielders Roshan Kujur and Mukesh Toppo, who will play pivotal roles in India’s quest to defend their title. The team will be captained by Amir Ali, with Rohit serving as vice-captain.
The Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2024 features ten teams divided into two pools. India, placed in Pool A, will compete against Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. Pool B includes Bangladesh, Malaysia, China, Oman, and Pakistan.
India heads into the tournament as the defending champions, having clinched their fourth Junior Asia Cup title last year with a victory over Pakistan in the final.

Midfielders: Ankit Pal, Manmeet Singh, Roshan Kujur, Mukesh Toppo, Thokchom Kingson Singh.
Forwards: Gurjot Singh, Sourabh Anand Kushwaha, Dilraj Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Araijeet Singh Hundal.
