Three More Drive-in Vaccination Centres in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: After the success of first drive-in Covid-19 vaccination centre launched at the parking lot of the Esplanade Shopping Mall, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to set up three more similar facilities in Bhubaneswar.

The new drive-in vaccination centres will function at the parking lot of Utkal Kanika Galleria mall at Kalpana Square and Symphony mall at Rudrapur and KIIT University Cricket Stadium at Patia.

Citizens aged above 45 years, who have already taken the first dose of covid vaccine can book their slots for the second jab at these centres from 6 pm today, informed BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary.

Total 300 slots per location will be available from May 11 to May 15. Without slot booking, no vehicle will be allowed to enter the vaccination centres. According to officials around 5 lakh people have been administered with both the jabs.
