Tamil Actor Vijay Declares Political Entry with Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam Party

Chennai: In a significant development, popular Tamil actor Vijay has officially announced his foray into politics ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The actor has christened his political venture as “Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam.”

Despite his political entry, Vijay clarified that his party would not be participating in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, and they will not extend support to any other political party. The actor made this announcement during a press statement, citing the decision was made during the General and Executive Council Meeting.

In his statement, Vijay asserted, “We are not going to contest the 2024 elections, and we are not going to support any party. We have made this decision for the General and Executive Council Meeting.”

This move by the popular actor adds an intriguing dimension to the political landscape, and his party’s future actions and stances will be closely watched in the run-up to the elections.
