Mumbai: Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, ceremoniously flagged off the Indian Navy Chadar Trek expedition on the Frozen Zanskar River in Ladakh at INS Shivaji on January 16, 2024.
The MV Vasiliy Golovnin, an expedition vessel chartered by India and carrying 24 members, entered intoAntarctic waters, after commencing its journey from Cape Town to Antarctica for the 43rd Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (ISEA) Voyage in the early morning hours of December 23, 2023.
