
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that the state’s flagship women-focused financial assistance program, the Subhadra Yojana, will provide support to beneficiaries in three phases during 2025.
Addressing the media, Deputy CM Parida revealed that the first installment of financial assistance will be disbursed before March 8, followed by releases on International Women’s Day (March 8) and Raksha Bandhan.
“These dates have been chosen to underscore the program’s dedication to empowering women and celebrating their contributions to society,” Parida said.
The Deputy Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s commitment to inclusivity, announcing that a comprehensive field survey will be completed in the first week of January 2025.
“The findings of this survey will ensure that every eligible woman is included under the Subhadra scheme, leaving no one behind,” she assured.
Parida emphasized the government’s meticulous approach, noting, “We are taking the time to carefully include everyone under the Subhadra scheme, ensuring that no one is excluded.”
