SRK+ is not an OTT app, rather a commercial ad featuring Shah Rukh Khan

On Tuesday, fans of Shah Rukh Khan got excited as the actor in his social media post about the upcoming SRK+ app. However, it turned out to be a promotional gimmick for a new ad campaign for the Disney+ Hotstar featuring Shah Rukh Khan.

Disney+ Hotstar today launched its new commercial featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Anurag Kashyap which makes it clear that SRK+ app is not an app to be launched by Shah Rukh rather a commercial ad for the OTT platform.

Ajay Devgn, shared the ad on the his social media and wrote, “Sorry @iamsrk pehle bata dete, Rudra SRK+ pe hi release karta Ab #ThodaRukShahRukh (sic).” Disney+ Hotstar also retweeted his post.
