SA beat IND by 4 wickets, lead series by 2-0

Cuttack: India lost the second International T20 match against South Africa played at Barabati Stadium on Sunday evening.

Heinrich Klaasen’s blistering 81 rubs helped South Africa win the match, leading the lead series by 2-0 in the five match series.

Earlier winning the toss South African captain Temba Bavuma asked India to bat first.

Rishabh Pant lead Indian team managed to score 147 for 6, giving a target of 148 runs to South Africa.

India got an early blow when Ruturaj Gaekwad was sent back to the pavillion by South African bowler Kagiso Rabada in the very first over.

Skipper Pant and Hardik Pandya couldn’t couldn’t stand long against Rabada and Wayne Parnell.

Shreyas Iyer (40) was the top-scorer for India.

Coming to bat second, the South African team managed to hit runs with ease. Their run rate was above the required run rate after the 10th over.

The next match of the series will be played in Visakhapatnam.
