Roopa Roshan Sahoo Takes Charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Odisha Governor

Bhubaneswar: Senior bureaucrat Roopa Roshan Sahoo has officially assumed charge as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Governor of Odisha, bringing with her a wealth of administrative experience and a reputation for efficiency and dedication.

A 2006-batch IAS officer, Sahoo previously served as the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Range), where she played a crucial role in overseeing developmental programs and maintaining administrative coordination in the region. Her work during her tenure earned widespread appreciation for its responsiveness and impact.

Sahoo’s appointment to the Governor’s Secretariat is being seen as a strategic move, given her strong track record across various departments of the Odisha government. Her new role will involve managing the administrative affairs of Raj Bhavan and facilitating the Governor’s constitutional responsibilities.
