Bhubaneswar: Odia cine industry mourns the loss of eminent music director Swarup Nayak, who peacefully breathed his last at his residence in Cuttack. Sources revealed that Nayak had been battling throat cancer for several days, marking a profound loss for the state’s music and film industry.

Throughout his illustrious career, Nayak made significant contributions to the realm of music and cinema, leaving an indelible mark with his exceptional talent and creativity. He served as a music director for numerous Odia films, infusing each project with his distinct musical style and vision. Additionally, Nayak also showcased his versatility by taking up acting roles in select films, further showcasing his multifaceted abilities within the industry.
