New Delhi: In a significant move towards enhancing the inter-state transmission infrastructure for renewable energy projects, REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a subsidiary of REC Limited, handed over the project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to G R Infraprojects Private Limited. The SPV, named Pachora Power Transmission Limited, is dedicated to establishing an Inter-State Transmission Project for the evacuation of power from RE Projects in Rajgarh SEZ in Madhya Pradesh, Phase II, with a capacity of 1000 MW. The handover ceremony witnessed the presence of senior officials from RECPDCL, representatives from the Central Transmission Utility of India Limited (CTUIL), and other key stakeholders.
