Raksha Rajya Mantri Commends NCC as a Transformative Force at Republic Day Camp

Delhi Cantt: Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Ajay Bhatt, during his visit to the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantt, expressed that the NCC is not merely an organization but a movement that shapes young minds into responsible and patriotic citizens. His remarks underscored the transformative impact of the NCC on the youth, turning them into future heroes of India.

Shri Ajay Bhatt praised the NCC for creating an amalgamation of diverse cultures, languages, and traditions at the Republic Day Camp. He highlighted that this diversity reflects the vibrant image of the country on the international stage, emphasizing India’s identity of ‘Unity in Diversity.’

The Raksha Rajya Mantri lauded the NCC for instilling values, skills, and leadership abilities in its cadets. He acknowledged the organization’s growth from its inception to becoming the largest uniformed youth organization globally, embodying its motto of ‘Unity & Discipline.’

Shri Ajay Bhatt commended the NCC’s commendable efforts in community service schemes such as ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan,’ ‘Ganga Utsav Campaign,’ ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,’ ‘Plastic Pollution Campaign,’ ‘Coastal Clean-up Day,’ and ‘World’s Rivers Day.’ These initiatives, he noted, had a positive impact on society.

Reflecting on his own days as an NCC cadet, Shri Ajay Bhatt expressed a deep sense of pride and connection to the organization. The Raksha Rajya Mantri concluded his address with a call to rededicate ourselves to the ideals of the Constitution and urged all to strive towards building a more inclusive and stronger India on the upcoming Republic Day.

As part of the event, Shri Ajay Bhatt reviewed an impressive ‘Guard of Honour’ presented by the smart cadets of the NCC. The NCC cadets of Sainik School, Kapurthala, showcased a splendid band display, adding a musical touch to the festivities. The Raksha Rajya Mantri visited the ‘Flag Area,’ which portrayed various social awareness themes and cultural activities. He was briefed about the state directorates during this segment. The event featured a Cultural Programme highlighting national integration and India’s rich cultural heritage.

The visit of the Raksha Rajya Mantri to the NCC Republic Day Camp stands as a testament to the organization’s crucial role in shaping the youth of the nation and fostering a sense of responsibility, patriotism, and discipline among them.
