
Bhubaneswar: Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communications, and Information & Technology, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar railway section, emphasizing safety, traffic facilities, and the status of ongoing infrastructure projects. During the inspection, he urged railway officials to ensure timely completion of infrastructure-related projects and passenger amenities.
Following the inspection, Vaishnaw visited the Cuttack and Bhubaneswar Railway stations, assessing the advancements in ongoing infrastructural works aimed at transforming these stations into world-class facilities. Expressing satisfaction with the progress of construction, he reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing railway infrastructure.
As part of his visit to Cuttack Railway station, Vaishnaw toured the Maniabandha handloom product stall. This One Station One Product initiative at Cuttack Railway station showcases the exquisite handloom products of Maniabandha Village in Cuttack District. During his previous visit to Odisha, Vaishnaw had assured local weavers of establishing a Maniabandha stall at Cuttack station, aligning with the “One Station One Product” initiative. This initiative aims to promote local craftsmanship and provide a platform for showcasing unique products at railway stations across the country.
