
Action taken by Railway officials immediately
Cuttack: The Minister of Railways, Communication, and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, undertook a three-day visit to Odisha, where he responded to the grievances raised by Gobra Gram Panchayat of Athagarh Block, Cuttack District, on the night of Saturday night. The concern pertained to waterlogging issues near the Underpass at Level Crossing Gate No. CT-19, adjacent to Gurudujhatia Railway Station.
Engaging with the local community, Shri Vaishnaw assured the residents that the inconvenience caused by waterlogging would be addressed promptly. Subsequently, he directed Railway officials to take immediate action to resolve the problem.
In line with the Minister’s instructions, a Divisional Team from Khurda Road Division, led by the Additional Divisional Railway Manager, conducted a site visit this morning. Departmental officials have taken swift action to rectify the waterlogging issue and alleviate the concerns faced by the residents of Gobra Gram Panchayat. The proactive response from the Railway Ministry aims to ensure the well-being and comfort of the local population affected by the identified problem.
