Mohali: In a thrilling start to their IPL 2024 campaign, Punjab Kings emerged victorious against Delhi Capitals, securing a hard-fought win by 4 wickets in a nail-biting encounter at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali.

The Punjab Kings, chasing a target of 175 runs set by Delhi Capitals, showcased resilience and determination as they successfully chased down the total with Liam Livingstone’s powerful six sealing the win. Livingstone’s heroics, coupled with a solid batting performance throughout the innings, propelled Punjab Kings to a memorable victory.

Sam Curran, playing a pivotal role for Punjab Kings, delivered a stunning performance, anchoring the innings with his magnificent knock of 63 runs. Curran’s contribution proved to be instrumental in guiding his team towards the target, despite his departure from the crease.
