The Prime Minister, addressing the gathering, celebrated the initiation of development projects exceeding Rs 35,700 crores in Jharkhand and extended congratulations to the farmers, tribals, and citizens of the state. In addition to the fertilizer and rail projects, the Prime Minister dedicated important power projects in Jharkhand, including Unit 1 (660 MW) of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Chatra. Valued at over Rs 7500 crores, this project is poised to improve power supply, generate employment, and contribute to socio-economic development in the state.

The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of projects related to the coal sector in Jharkhand, further solidifying the state’s position as a vital contributor to India’s energy landscape.

Emphasizing the government’s commitment to Jharkhand’s development, Prime Minister Modi noted the prioritization of tribal communities, the poor, youth, and women in the last decade. He expressed confidence that the state, known for Bhagwan Birsa Munda, would become a driving force in realizing the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.

In a brief address before proceeding to Dhanbad, the Prime Minister extended best wishes and congratulations to the people of Jharkhand. The event witnessed the presence of Governor C P Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Champai Soren, Union Minister Arjun Munda, and other dignitaries.
