Prime Minister Narendra Modi Encourages Youth at Pali Saansad Khel Mahakumbh

Pali:   Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Pali Saansad Khel Mahakumbh through a video message, congratulating participants for showcasing their remarkable sporting talents. He commended the spirit of sportsmanship and emphasized that in sports, there is never a defeat; one either wins or learns. The Prime Minister extended his best wishes to all players, coaches, and family members, recognizing their collective efforts.

Speaking on the significance of sports in youth development and national progress, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the enthusiasm and confidence displayed in the Saansad Khel Mahakumbh, which has become an identity for every player and youth. He acknowledged the government’s commitment to promoting sports and providing a platform for millions of talented athletes across districts and states.

Prime Minister Modi praised the Saansad Khel Mahakumbh for scouting and harnessing new talent, emphasizing the transformative power of sports in shaping the youth. He applauded the participation of over 2 lakh athletes, including more than 1100 school children from Pali, and recognized the exposure and opportunities provided to them through the event.

Commending the Member of Parliament from Pali, Shri P.P. Choudhary, for his outstanding efforts, Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the role of sports in shaping the youth of Rajasthan and the nation. He expressed confidence that the athletes from Rajasthan would continue to bring glory to the nation.

Highlighting the beauty of sports in cultivating a habit of continuous self-improvement, Prime Minister Modi stressed its ability to steer youth away from vices, instill resilience, foster concentration, and contribute to personal development. He underscored the government’s commitment to youth welfare, with a threefold increase in the sports budget, financial assistance to athletes under various schemes, and the establishment of sports centers across the country.

Prime Minister Modi noted the achievements of Indian athletes at the recent Asian Games and reaffirmed the government’s focus on youth empowerment through initiatives fostering entrepreneurship, skill development, and employment opportunities. He mentioned the Rs 1 lakh crore fund for tax relief for startups and highlighted the significant developmental projects undertaken in Pali, contributing to the overall well-being of its residents.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering every citizen, particularly the youth, through comprehensive developmental initiatives.
