Prime Minister Narendra Modi Commences 11-Day Ritual Ahead of Shri Ramlala’s Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya Dham

New Delhi: In a significant spiritual undertaking, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated an 11-day special ritual leading up to the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ramlala at the temple in Ayodhya Dham on January 22. The Prime Minister emphasized the immense responsibility and the divine consciousness that needs to be awakened for the Yagya and worship of God, as prescribed in scriptures. He announced the commencement of the special ritual, guided by the ‘Yama-Niyams’ and the advice of pious souls and spiritual luminaries.

Expressing his emotional connection to the moment, the Prime Minister acknowledged the nationwide surge in Ram Bhakti leading up to the Pran Pratishtha. He referred to this period as a blessing and shared the unique and overwhelming feelings of devotion he is experiencing for the first time in his life. PM Modi described this inner journey as an opportunity for experience rather than expression, emphasizing its profound depth, breadth, and intensity.

Grateful for the privilege of witnessing the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream of generations, Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the immense responsibility placed on him to represent all the people of India as an instrument of God’s will. He sought the blessings of people, sages, and God for this significant undertaking.

Initiating the ritual from Nashik Dham – Panchavati, where Lord Ram spent a significant time, PM Modi highlighted the happy coincidence of Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanti and Mata Jijabai’s day. He paid tribute to these luminaries and remembered his own mother’s devotion to Sita-Ram.

Reflecting on the upcoming sacred moment, the Prime Minister acknowledged that while he will physically witness it, in his heart, he will be joined by the 140 crore Indians and every Ram devotee. He invited the nation to associate with him, seeking their blessings and expressions. Emphasizing the spiritual journey, PM Modi noted the truth that God is ‘nirakar’ but expressed that the form of God is found in the people. He invited people to share their feelings and blessings, acknowledging that they infuse new energy into his spiritual journey.
