President Murmu Confers Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar to 17 Exceptional Children

New Delhi: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, honored 17 children with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar at a ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre today. The prestigious awards were conferred across seven categories, recognizing outstanding achievements in various fields.

Addressing the gathering, President Murmu congratulated the young awardees, highlighting their extraordinary accomplishments and limitless potential. “The entire country is proud of you. You have set a shining example for children across India with your remarkable achievements,” she said.

The President emphasized India’s longstanding tradition of nurturing and celebrating the talents of its youth. “Recognizing children’s potential has been part of our heritage, and this tradition must be further strengthened,” she noted.

Looking ahead to India’s centenary of independence in 2047, President Murmu expressed confidence in the awardees’ role as future leaders. “In the coming decades, these talented boys and girls will grow to be enlightened citizens and builders of a developed India,” she added.
