President Murmu Addresses 32nd Convocation of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur

Udaipur: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, graced the 32nd convocation of Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur, Rajasthan, today. Addressing the gathering, the President emphasized the importance of adaptability in the rapidly evolving fields of knowledge, science, and technology, advising students to maintain “The Spirit of the Student” throughout their lives.

President Murmu highlighted the value of hard work and dedication, stating that these qualities are key to success in both professional and personal spheres. She encouraged students to find a balance between their ambitions and social sensitivity, underscoring that personal welfare is naturally achieved through acts of kindness and service to others.

“The highest moral values should be reflected in your actions and work style,” the President advised, urging students to maintain integrity in all aspects of their lives. She stressed the importance of ethical behavior and character, reminding them to avoid actions that could tarnish their reputation.

Speaking on the transformative power of education, President Murmu lauded the university’s role in empowering students, particularly those from marginalized communities. She acknowledged that a significant portion of the student body comes from SC and ST communities, recognizing this as a vital contribution to social justice through inclusive education.

The President also commended the university’s efforts in community development, noting that Mohanlal Sukhadia University has adopted several villages and actively involves students in their progress. She praised the institution for its dedication to social responsibility and its efforts to create a positive impact on society.
