
New Delhi, May 8: Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna has tested Covid 19 positive on Saturday. Prasidh who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Indian Premier League, is the fourth player from the franchise to test positive. Varun Chakaravarthy, Sandeep Warrier and Tim Seifert are the other KKR players who had tested positive.
On Friday, BCCI announced Prasidh’s name as a stand player for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand and five-match test series against England.
The WTC Final will be played from June 18 to 22, while a five-match Test series against England will commence on August 4.
