Drive-in Vaccination Centre Starts In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, May 8: The first day of the drive-in Covid vaccination centre launched at the parking lot of Esplanade Shopping Mall in Bhubaneswar received an overwhelming response from people.
People aged above 45 years reached the centre to avail the vaccination facility set up by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). Eligible citizens who have received the first jab of the vaccine at private hospitals or Government facilities drived-in to get their second dose at the mall.

On Saturday 400 people were vaccinated, while from May 10 to May 15, 500 slots will be available per day for vaccination.
On Friday, BMC had informed that no vehicles without slot booking will be allowed to enter the parking lot of the mall.
