
Wilmington, USA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the sidelines of the Quad Leaders’ Summit in Wilmington, Delaware. The meeting highlighted the deepening ties between India and Japan as part of their Special Strategic and Global Partnership.
Both leaders warmly recalled their numerous interactions, especially following their first Annual Summit in March 2022. Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Kishida for his steadfast leadership, which has played a crucial role in advancing the partnership between the two nations over the past few years.
As the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership marks its 10th year, both Prime Ministers expressed satisfaction with the progress made in various sectors. They discussed expanding collaboration in areas such as defense and security, as well as enhancing business-to-business (B2B) and people-to-people (P2P) ties.
