Over 55,000 Candidates Qualify in OJEE-2025; Results Announced by Skill Development Minister

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE-2025) results were declared today, marking a key milestone for thousands of students aspiring to join technical and professional courses across the state. The announcement was made by Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain at an official ceremony held at the SCTEVT Conference Hall.

Congratulating the successful candidates, the minister released the official results booklet and encouraged students to remain focused and committed to their goals. “Your hard work has brought you this far. Let this be the beginning of a journey that not only transforms your life but also contributes to building a brighter future for Odisha,” he said.

The OJEE-2025 was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 70 centers located in all 30 districts of Odisha, along with three centers outside the state — Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi. The exam was held for admissions into 17 courses including B.CAT, LE-BTech, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, Integrated MBA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm, and nursing.

Out of the 92,488 registered candidates, a total of 80,324 students appeared for the examination, registering a strong 86.84% attendance. Of these, 55,362 candidates have been awarded ranks in non-nursing programs. Results for nursing courses will be released separately by the State Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET).

The declaration event also recognized the achievements of top-performing students across different streams. Among them were:

  • Jatin Meher – Topper in B.Pharm

  • Gourab Swain – LE-Tech (Diploma)

  • Sakshi Kumari – LE-Tech (B.Sc)

  • Anurag Mishra – MBA

  • S Siseendri – MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science)

  • Manmatha Behera – Overall Topper in M.Tech

Senior officials present at the event included Samarth Varma, Director of Technical Education; Sukant Kumar Pradhan, Additional Secretary; Deb Prakash Shatapathy, OJEE Chairman; and Ranjan Kumar Jena, OJEE Secretary.
