Over 10,000 Applicants Seek BJD Tickets for Upcoming Odisha Elections

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 10,000 aspirants applying for party tickets ahead of the upcoming simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Odisha. This revelation came from BJD’s General Secretary (Organization) and Jajpur MLA, Pranab Prakash Das, also known as Bobby Das, who shared the information on his Twitter handle today.

Das mentioned that the applications have poured in from a diverse range of individuals, including professionals and leaders from various national parties who are keen on securing BJD tickets for the 2024 polls.

Expressing confidence in the party’s success, Das stated, “With the blessings of 4.5 crore Odias, we are confident of retaining power in Odisha in 2024. Our leader Naveen Patnaik will take oath as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the sixth straight term.”

The surge in applications reflects the dynamic political landscape in Odisha, with the BJD anticipating a significant presence and support in the upcoming elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
