Over 100 vultures have been found dead on Thursday evening at Milanpur, Chaygaon in Assam. While many vultures have been found in critical condition.
The Assam Forest Department officials reached the spot and tried to treat the critical ones.
Taking to social media, the forest department posted about the incident. “About 100 vultures have been found dead and many critical at Milanpur, Chaiygaon. The doctors and field staff are trying their best to treat the critical ones,” the tweet read.
The cause of the death is yet to be known.
