
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bus Terminal at Barmunda today, marking a significant leap in Odisha’s transportation infrastructure. The state-of-the-art bus terminal is poised to provide the highest comfort and convenience to tourists and passengers.
In line with the commitment to enhance the overall travel experience, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) unveiled a Travel Help Desk and a Café at the Bus Terminal.
The Travel Help Desk will assist tourists in discovering the hidden gems and wonders of Odisha. Equipped with valuable information about local attractions, transportation options, and nearby accommodations, the desk aims to facilitate a seamless travel experience. Additionally, it will assist in ticket bookings for various tours, ensuring tourists make the most of their visit to the culturally rich state.
Named “Utkal Aroma,” the Café is a welcoming addition to the terminal, providing quick bites and beverages for tourists, passengers, and locals in the neighborhood. The café is designed to offer a comfortable space for individuals to relax and rejuvenate during their journey.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were key figures from OTDC, including Chairman Dr. Lenin Mohanty, Managing Director Sri Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, and General Manager Dr. Lalatendu Sahoo, among others.
