Ollywood Stars’ Meeting at Naveen Niwas Sparks Speculation Amid Political Shifts

Bhubaneswar: In a twist of events amidst the backdrop of political realignments, young luminaries from the Odia film industry, including actors, actresses, and singers, descended upon Naveen Niwas, the residence of Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on Friday.

This gathering comes in the wake of senior Ollywood actors parting ways with BJD to join BJP, prompting speculation about potential shifts in political allegiances.

Among the notable personalities present were Babushan, Papu Pom Pom, Amlan Das, Sailendra, Aswini Tripathy, Prangya, Bhumika, Supriya, Prerana, and Tariq Aziz, who engaged in discussions with the Chief Minister and 5T chairman VK Pandian during their visit.

While details of the meeting were not disclosed to the media, Papu Pom Pom emphasized that the agenda primarily revolved around the growth and development of the Odia film industry, dismissing any connection to election campaigns or BJD promotions.

However, the timing of the Ollywood stars’ visit to the Chief Minister’s residence ahead of the impending state elections has fueled speculation about potential political affiliations.
