Odisha’s Medal Tally Rises as Swimmer Pratyasa Ray Wins Bronze at National Games

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s impressive performance at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand continued, with swimmer Pratyasa Ray securing a bronze medal in the Women’s 100m Backstroke event.

With this victory, Odisha’s medal count has reached 16, including 4 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medals.

A day earlier, Wushu player Babulu Munda brought home Odisha’s fourth gold medal, defeating his Haryana opponent in the Men’s 48 kg category.

Meanwhile, Odisha’s women’s football team maintained its dominant run in the tournament, thrashing Sikkim 5-1 to bolster their campaign.
