
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik marked a significant milestone on the fourth day of the fourth phase of the 5T School Transformation program by dedicating 286 transformed high schools across six districts—Khordha, Subarnapur, Puri, Nayagarh, Boudh, and Nabarangpur.
The dedication ceremony included 80 high schools in Khordha, 14 schools in Subarnapur, 53 schools in Puri, 75 schools in Nayagarh, 10 schools in Boudh, and 54 schools in Nabarangpur district. With this, a total of 6,883 schools have been transformed in the first three phases, and an additional 1,794 schools are slated for transformation in the fourth phase. Upon completion, a grand total of 8,677 schools in the state will undergo transformation.
Expressing gratitude to MLAs, Panchayat representatives, school management committees, teachers, students, and parents for their cooperation, Chief Minister Patnaik highlighted the ongoing transformation era in Odisha. He emphasized the positive impact of educational transformation on the collective mindset of society, paving the way for a new awakening among the Odia people.
Patnaik stated that the school transformation program is a crucial aspect of building the future of the nation, and it is part of a broader transformation initiative across various sectors in Odisha. He encouraged students to apply the principles of 5T (Teamwork, Transparency, Technology, Time Leading to Transformation) in their lives, ensuring their success.
Under the 5T initiative, the transformation program includes the provision of smart classrooms, computers, and modern laboratories in schools. Patnaik emphasized that this collaborative effort involves teamwork and transparent decision-making. He also noted the remarkable improvement in the education system of government schools, highlighting the growing enthusiasm among students and parents for studying in these institutions.
