Odisha Pavilion at IITF 2025 Attracts Strong Commercial Interest, Builds Key Business Linkages

New Delhi: The Odisha Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, underway at Bharat Mandapam from November 14 to 27, is witnessing remarkable commercial engagement, forging business connections with major enterprises from India and abroad.

Showcasing the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, the pavilion has drawn significant attention for its diverse range of products—from agricultural produce and forest-based goods to traditional handlooms, handicrafts, and indigenous crafts that reflect Odisha’s rich heritage and skilled craftsmanship.

Aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for Atmanirbhar Bharat and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s Odisha Vision 2036 that emphasises industrialisation and investment-driven growth, the Odisha Pavilion recorded notable business success during the fair’s first five days (November 14–18), designated exclusively for commercial interactions.

Under the MSME Department, Bargarh-based Goumaya Paints held discussions with representatives from the Tripura Industries Department, Arihant Paints of Rohtak (Haryana), A.L.M. Enterprises (New Delhi), and RKGD Enterprises (New Delhi).
Odisha Rajya Talaguda Samabaya Sangha explored opportunities with Delhi-based entrepreneur Harmit Singh.
Elate Crunchies from Berhampur engaged in talks with the Airports Authority of India, Power Grid Corporation, Ashoka Hotel (New Delhi), and Nut Shake.

In the agriculture and farmers’ empowerment sector, the Jashipur Farmers Producers Committee of Mayurbhanj interacted with buyers from Kerala.

Under ORMAS, Rayagada’s Prerana Self-Help Group, showcasing tumba crafts, discussed business prospects with Rudrashil Products of New Delhi.

Stalls exhibiting paddy craft, Saura and Gond paintings, Koraput coffee, and tribal community products supported by the SC & ST Development Department, along with goods produced by women SHGs and producer groups under Mission Shakti and ORMAS, became major attractions for traders and institutional buyers.

Ministers, senior officials, and trade delegations from multiple states visited the Odisha Pavilion, engaging directly with exhibitors to understand production processes, supply chains, and distribution capacity. Their interactions significantly boosted confidence in Odisha-made products and opened avenues for inter-state trade partnerships.

The Pavilion was inaugurated on November 14 by Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
On November 18, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo visited the pavilion, along with pavilions of the Ministry of Power and Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, highlighting Odisha’s strengths in these sectors.

Notable visitors included Tripura’s Minister of Industries & Commerce Santana Chakma and Manipur’s Additional Chief Secretary Sri Anurag Bajpayee, among others, who expressed strong interest in collaborating with Odisha-based enterprises.

With steady business enquiries, productive networking, and enthusiastic responses from domestic and international buyers, the Odisha Pavilion has positioned itself as one of the most vibrant and commercially promising attractions at IITF 2025.
