Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department has initiated the admission process for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2026–27 and invited eligible students to submit applications through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.

According to the official notification, the online application window will open on June 20 and remain available until July 5, 2026, providing aspiring candidates an opportunity to apply for the integrated teacher education course.

Admissions to the programme will be carried out on the basis of performance in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The department has scheduled publication of the first merit list on July 10, 2026, following which the admission process will proceed as per the notified timeline.
