Odisha Govt Pledges ₹10 Crore for Baba Akhandalamani Temple Development

Bhubaneswar: In a significant move to enhance religious tourism and infrastructure, the Odisha government has allocated ₹10 crore for the development of the historic Baba Akhandalamani Temple at Aradi in Bhadrak district. The announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

Earlier in the day, Deputy CM Parida, along with Minister of Literature & Culture Suryabanshi Suraj, Bhadrak MLA Sitansu Sekhar Mohapatra, and Bhadrak Collector Dilip Routray, visited the temple to offer prayers. Expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to seek the blessings of Baba Akhandalamani, Parida shared that she prayed for the well-being, prosperity, and peace of the people of Bhadrak and the entire state.

Speaking to the media, she emphasized the government’s commitment to the temple’s development. “The Tourism Department has allocated ₹10 crore for the temple and its surroundings. If additional funds are required, the government will ensure the complete transformation of this sacred site,” she assured.
