According to the new notification, the daily minimum wages for unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, and highly skilled workers have been raised to Rs 450, Rs 500, Rs 550, and Rs 600 respectively.

This decision, which aims to enhance the financial well-being of workers in scheduled occupations, was approved by the State Cabinet on July 10, 2024. The revision aligns with the provisions of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
