Odisha Extends EV Policy Validity Until December 2026

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021, will remain in force until December 31, 2026, following an extension announced by the State government.

The Commerce and Transport Department issued a notification on Saturday, extending the policy’s validity under the provisions of para 11.5.

The notification, issued by Principal Secretary NBS Rajput, confirmed that the policy will continue until the end of December 2026.

Introduced to promote electric mobility and encourage the adoption of electric vehicles in Odisha, the policy was originally notified in 2021.
