Bhubaneswar: As Odisha braces for the final phase of elections tomorrow, most political leaders are anxiously awaiting the poll outcomes. In stark contrast, a confident and relaxed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was seen indulging in one of his favorite pastimes—visiting a bookstore.
The voracious reader and author of three books visited the Modern Book Depot in Master Canteen, Bhubaneswar, where he purchased two books, spending Rs 2500. Naveen Patnaik, known for his calm demeanor, took a selfie with a child on his way out, showcasing his approachable nature.
In addition to his bookstore visit, the Chief Minister was spotted watching TV in a jolly mood, a rare sight amid the tense atmosphere of election season. His nonchalance stands in sharp contrast to the typical political frenzy surrounding election results.
Having concluded a marathon campaign for his party, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Patnaik has returned to his passion for reading, demonstrating his composed attitude towards the impending election results. Accompanying him on his bookstore visit was senior BJD leader and 5T Chairman, Kartik Pandian.
Earlier, Naveen Patnaik expressed his confidence in the BJD’s performance, predicting a historic victory for his party. This unwavering confidence appears to be reflected in his calm and collected activities, far removed from the election stress gripping most political leaders.
