
Prayagraj: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the Mahakumbh celebrations at Prayagraj today, taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. The Chief Minister described the experience as deeply spiritual and transformative, emphasizing the significance of the Mahakumbh as a confluence of faith, tradition, and divinity.
Speaking to media after performing rituals and Aarti at the Sangam, CM Majhi reflected on the profound spiritual essence of the event.
“It is an extraordinary privilege and a deeply spiritual experience to witness the sacred Mahakumbh at Prayagraj. The holy bath at Triveni Sangam symbolizes purification of the soul, unity of humanity, and the eternal flow of wisdom and devotion,” he stated.
Describing the overwhelming faith and cultural vibrancy of Mahakumbh, he said, “As crores of devotees from across the nation and beyond gather here with immense faith, the atmosphere becomes a reflection of India’s rich cultural heritage and spiritual ethos. The spirit of devotion, discipline, and harmony seen during this grand congregation is truly inspiring.”
