
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the “Bikasita Bharat Pain Bikasita Odisha” initiative on Wednesday, unveiling its official logo and web portal at the Lok Seva Bhavan. The initiative seeks to drive Odisha’s development to align with India’s growth goals.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chief Minister Majhi expressed that, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, India is advancing steadily toward development, with Odisha receiving special focus through the Purvodaya Scheme. “As Odisha approaches its 100th anniversary as an independent state in 2036, fulfilling the vision of a developed Odisha will be a key step in building a developed India by 2047,” Majhi stated.
The initiative invites input from intellectuals, organizations, educators, the general public, and the Odia diaspora, all of which will contribute to a “Vision Document” for Odisha’s future. “This document will not merely be an official report but will reflect the collective voices of Odisha’s people,” Majhi emphasized, assuring that suggestions will be carefully evaluated for inclusion in the state’s strategic plans.
Majhi expressed optimism about the state’s future, stating that, with unified efforts, Odisha could achieve economic prosperity and fulfill the vision of “Bikasita Odisha,” paving the way for a more developed India by 2047.
