Odisha CM Conducts Aerial Survey of Cyclone-Hit Areas, Orders Immediate Damage Assessment

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conducted an aerial survey of the cyclone-affected coastal regions on Sunday, assessing the widespread impact in areas including Paradip, Mahakalapada, Rajnagar, Rajkanika, and Chandbali.

Following the survey, CM Majhi directed the relevant departments to carry out an immediate damage assessment to expedite aid to cyclone and flood victims. He emphasized that early assessment is critical to determine the extent of relief required.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari and Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja during the helicopter survey, underlining the government’s swift response to the disaster.
