Odisha CHSE Plus 2 Exam Results 2025 Declared; Girls Outshine Boys with 87.24% Pass Rate

Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, declared the Plus 2 examination results for 2025 on Tuesday, covering all four streams — Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational Education. The announcement was made by School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond at the CHSE office, in the presence of department secretary and CHSE Chairperson Mrunalkanti Das.

This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 82.77%, with girls outperforming boys by a significant margin. While 87.24% of girls cleared the examination, the pass percentage for boys was 77.88%.

Stream-wise, the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 87.49%, followed by Commerce with 83.2%, Arts with 80.51%, and Vocational Education with 60%.

A total of 3.93 lakh students appeared for the examination, held in March this year. Among them, 2.47 lakh students were from the Arts stream, 1.14 lakh from Science, 25,000 from Commerce, and around 5,000 students appeared under the Vocational stream. The examinations concluded on March 27, with evaluation beginning on April 2 and ending on May 1.

Students can access their mark sheets through the official DigiLocker portal at https://results.digilocker.gov.in and https://results.odisha.gov.in from 5 PM onwards, an hour after the formal declaration of results. Additionally, hard copies of mark sheets will be made available in respective institutions within 30 days, CHSE Chairperson Mrunalkanti Das confirmed.
