
Bhubaneswar: In a significant move, the State Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, announced on Thursday the extension of the State Government Grant-in-Aid to eligible employees of non-government newly-aided high schools and Sanskrit Tols, aligning with the Odisha Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2017 (7th Pay).
This decision is expected to benefit around 7,796 teaching and non-teaching employees associated with 627 Non-Government New-Aided High Schools and 39 Sanskrit Tols, all of whom currently receive 100% Grant-in-Aid.
