Odisha Cabinet Approves 11 Proposals

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on Friday approved a series of key decisions aimed at strengthening infrastructure and public services across the state.

The 38th Cabinet meeting was held at Lok Seva Bhawan, where a total of 11 proposals from five departments were deliberated and cleared.

Briefing the media after the meeting, Anu Garg, Chief Secretary, said the Cabinet decisions reflect the government’s focus on improving public infrastructure and service delivery.

Among the major approvals was the Atal Bus Stand Scheme, with an outlay of ₹3,400 crore. The scheme aims to modernise bus terminals across the state, enhance commuter amenities, and improve the overall efficiency of public transport systems.

Officials said the initiative is expected to significantly upgrade existing infrastructure and create integrated, passenger-friendly transport hubs.
