Odia cuisines to be included in the menu of Rashtrapati Bhawan

Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia cuisines will be included in the menu of Rashtrapati Bhawan soon so that President Draupadi Murmu could relish some of her favourite culinary items from Odisha.

Some of the traditional Odia food items like Pakhala and sajana saga among others will be included in the menu.

President Draupadi Murmu is a vegetarian and relishes only Satvik food without onion and garlic, so the new menu has been prepared accordingly.

During her tenure as the Governor of Jharkhand, Odia cuisines were also included in the menu of Ranchi Raj Bhavan.
