OCAC Bags Dual Honours at Aadhaar Samvaad 2025 for Excellence in Enrolment and Authentication

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), the technical arm of the Electronics & IT Department, Government of Odisha, has earned national recognition with two prestigious awards from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) at the Aadhaar Samvaad 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

OCAC was awarded for its exceptional performance as a Registrar, achieving high-level accuracy in Aadhaar enrolment. The honour highlights OCAC’s steadfast commitment to precision, quality control, and adherence to UIDAI’s standards, ensuring a citizen-friendly and error-free enrolment process across the state.

The second award lauded OCAC’s impactful role as a State Authentication User Agency (AUA). By providing a secure and efficient platform for real-time Aadhaar authentication, OCAC has enabled seamless access to a range of government services. This has significantly enhanced the delivery of welfare schemes and other digital services powered by Aadhaar, contributing to greater transparency and inclusion.

The awards were received by Dr. Pradeep Raut, Chief Executive Officer of OCAC, during a ceremony attended by Union Minister for Electronics & IT and Railways Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, UIDAI CEO, and other senior dignitaries.

These recognitions underline OCAC’s crucial role in advancing Odisha’s digital governance initiatives and its sustained efforts to strengthen the Aadhaar ecosystem through innovation, best practices, and collaboration with UIDAI.

Reiterating its commitment to a digitally empowered India, OCAC stated that it would continue to deliver technology-driven, citizen-centric solutions that uphold transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity in public service delivery.
