NCC Directorate Maharashtra Clinches Prime Minister’s Banner at Republic Day Camp 2024 for Hat-trick Victory

Mumbai: The NCC Directorate Maharashtra contingent has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the prestigious Prime Minister’s Banner at the Republic Day Camp -2024 for the third consecutive time, marking a hat-trick of victories.

Comprising 122 cadets, the Maharashtra Directorate contingent emerged as the Champions Trophy winner and secured the Prime Minister’s Banner at the Republic Day Camp (RDC-2024) by securing the top position overall. In addition to the coveted banner, the contingent also bagged an impressive array of trophies, laurels, and medals.

Maj Gen Yogender Singh, VSM, ADG NCC Directorate Maharashtra, expressed his elation, stating, “Winning the RDC banner competition for the 20th time and consecutively for the last three years is a stupendous achievement. My heartfelt congratulations to the entire team of NCC Directorate Maharashtra for their hard work, dedication, and sincerity.”

He extended his gratitude to the State Government of Maharashtra for unwavering support to the NCC cadets in all their endeavors. The hat-trick victory is a testament to the relentless efforts and commitment of the NCC Directorate Maharashtra in nurturing leadership qualities and discipline among the cadets.
